AdMakers has traditionally contracted out its animation and computer generated imaging (CGI) work – the art of bringing real estate developments to life before they’re actually built. But recently the agency invested in its own CGI division, employing some of the world's foremost CGI artists in-house and investing in some very powerful computing equipment – animation, Hollywood style! Combining their new, in-house animation skills, with the agency's existing creative teams and in-house film-making division, AdMakers is now in the unique position of being able to offer its international clients film-making with exceptionally high production values.

ANIMATION

Architecture as a design process is unique in that the finished article is usually an expensive building or mega yacht. This means that a mistake in style, form or construction can be very expensive or even irreversible. Today, therefore, with the help of forward-thinking agencies like AdMakers, visualising of architectural design is done mostly with 3D renderings and with increasing frequency, 3D animations.

3D visualisation has particular benefits to both architect and client, in that design changes throughout the process are relatively quick and easy. 3D WALK-THROUGH

AdMakers now offers clients ground-breaking, 3D walk-through technology.

It’s an exciting new technology which allows you to 'see', in virtual reality, the interior or exterior of a fully furnished apartment/development/landscape, by using an iPad or compatible device. With a 360 degree view, left, right, up and down, the device becomes your eyes, and you’re now able to view an entire location as if it has already been built. Apartments can be ‘furnished’ according to developer/designer specifications, with any furniture/styles/art available or in existence, anywhere in the world.

This brand new and almost-tangible WALK-THROUGH experience, created by AdMakers’ new 3D Visualisation Team, is based right here in Cape Town.
